    Outside Sales Representative, Employment in Hutchins, TX 75141  

    Texas Commercial Tire is a service-driven, commercial Goodyear dealer just south of downtown Dallas. We are looking to add an Outside Sales Representative to our team. TCT offers a full portfolio of Light Truck, Commercial Truck, and Off-The-Road tires. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will have the ability to accelerate your income based on your sales. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

    • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of products and services to provide accurate information to customers.
    • Evaluate customer needs and make recommendations to help customers reach their fleets’ full operational potential.
    • Actively seek new accounts and represent the company to potential customers.
    • Sell tires, alignments, and service.
    • Meet sales goals set by management.
    • Implementing marketing programs to gain new clients through cold calls, campaigns, proposals, and referrals.
    • Conduct fleet needs evaluations and provide customers with cost analysis and benefits.
    • Scheduling fleet service appointments and coordinating appointments with the service department.
    • Ensure prompt resolution of tire adjustments and ensure that customer casings are handled appropriately.
    • Deliver tires to customers as needed.

    REQUIREMENTS: 

    • *High School Diploma or GED (College Degree or higher is desired)*
    •  Must have a valid driver’s license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements, including being at least 21 years of age.
    • At least 2 years of Commercial Tire Sales is preferred, 3 years of outside sales experience is required.
    • Demonstrated ability to work with little supervision.
    • Able to work on multiple projects at the same time, assess the workload, and prioritize for maximum business benefit.
    • Able to communicate business information through verbal/written methods that are concise and direct.
    • Conducts business professionally and represents Texas Commercial Tire favorably in all interactions.
    • Ability to work with all levels of the organization.
    • Unwilling to compromise personal integrity or business ethics and able to maintain confidentiality.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Commercial Tire Technician, Employment in Temple, TX 76501

    A Commercial Service Technician is accountable for properly and safely performing the tire and related services needed for all commercial tire users. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

    • Dismounting and mounting any type of tire on drop center, semi-drop center, and multi-piece rims to service customer’s needs as deemed safe by company policy.
    • Match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary.
    • Inflating of tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
    • Cleaning and maintaining service equipment.
    • Performing roadside service calls continuously.
    • Determining repairable tire conditions and making such repairs.
    • Removing tires for retreading or repair as needed.
    • Properly executing required billing documents (accurate and legible) and then submitting them to management.
    • Exercising proper maintenance of assigned Service Vehicle including an appearance as on-board service equipment.
    • Complying with DOT regulations including driver’s license for the class of truck operated.
    • Following all driving rules.
    • Complying with OSHA regulations and safety requirements.
    • Wearing proper PPE, using cages, and following all other safety policies and procedures.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • High School or GED preferred
    • At least 2 years of relevant service experience is preferred.
    • Must have a valid driver’s license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements, including being at least 21 years of age.
    • Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a team.
    • Must be a self-starter and willing to take the initiative, able and willing to work without direct supervision.
    • Willing to follow all safety procedures and work safely.
    • Must be willing to perform service calls on nights and/or weekends on a rotating basis.
    • Good oral and written communication ability.

    General Description:

    Tire expert, at your service. Your job as an Inside Sales – Advisor is to know our product inside out and leverage your expert knowledge to build trust with in-store guests as they pick the proper tires for their needs. Our goal is to ensure all guests get the tires that will work best for them. You’ll be there to help through the entire tire selling process—from welcoming our guests to understanding their needs and ultimately matching them with their perfect set of tires.
    Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

    • Assisting guests in the tire-buying process; This will include asking questions and determining the best product to fit their needs, recommending the best product to fit their needs, inspecting their current tires, completing the sale, and scheduling the tire installation appointment.
    • Delivering outstanding customer service. Be the friendly face of the tire-buying process and build relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Meeting sales goals and demonstrating proficient knowledge of products and services.
    • Keeping the sales floor clean and presentable.
    • Working independently at times, including opening and closing the location.
    • Scheduling customer appointments to best fit their needs, which also involves working with our shop manager and outside sales to determine availability.
    • When scheduling, realize that time matters. It is up to you to keep the promises of when guests’ vehicles will be ready while respecting their time and expectations.
    • Performing a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting, including consumer tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Previous customer service experience is required.
    • This position may require driving, so a valid driver’s license is a necessity.
    • A high school diploma/GED is required.
    • You must be at least 18 years of age.
    • No relocation is being offered for this position.
    • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
    • Preferred Qualifications:
